About Northview
Located in Florissant, Missouri, Northview educates students 14 to 21 years with a range of disabilities. Students attending Northview live in several nearby school districts: Ferguson-Florissant, Hazelwood, Riverview Gardens and Jennings.
Character development is the foundation of Northview High School. We have been recognized on a national level for promising practices in character education, and have been recognized as a State and National School of Character. We have achieved Gold status in Missouri for Positive Behavior Supports. Eagle Pride is the school-wide program that recognizes students for demonstrating skills related to school rules: Demonstrate your best effort, demonstrate respect and demonstrate responsibility. Last year we received recognition from CharacterPlus and the St. Louis Cardinals for our commitment to service learning. We are very proud of these accomplishments; they are the result of the hard work of our students, staff, and families.
The Northview school community prides itself on the accomplishments of the students it serves. It is through the celebration of each student’s self-determination in meeting personal goals that the school mission is achieved.
Northview High School is a community of learners committed to achievement, independence and service.
In partnership with parents, staff, students and community, we will assist students to become independent, responsible, productive citizens, and to maximize their personal potential for a successful future.
